Hello,

I just bought a ktm front sprocket for my bike (05 FE650), but it doesn't fit due to different spline profiles. I guess I messed up. How do I buy an aftermarket sprocket that will work? Not sure what it would be classified as...

Thanks.

I think there was a post about this before, but I thought a Husqvarna worked but was 11mm wide, Husaberg 12mm wide....

What size are you looking for?
The stock part # is 80033029013.
If your looking for a different size, Just change the last two numbers (14 instead of 13, etc.) and google the part number. Lots of vendors out there..

I am trying to get a hold of a sprocket other than OEM. Something like dirt tricks (iron man).

The one I bought is dirt tricks. Now that I look closer, it says for all KTM 4 stroke ('91 to '13 or something).... then Husaberg '09 onward.

I simply thought that KTM RFS bikes and the '05 berg would have same countershaft... and same front sprocket.

Well it says 09 onward, yours being 05, self explanatory! It has been a while since I have ordered sprockets for an 05 ( I had an 07, same I believe) but I'm thinking maybe they are the same as the Husky in that year?

Husqvarna 250 2 stroke sprockets fit (front). Lots available aftermarket.
2000-2012 you should be fine.

FWIW the oem berg front sprocket is one of the toughest sprockets you can get

better than talon and JT by far

I recently got myself a new Renthal front sprocket, if I'm not mistaken 295--520-14P. Their website stated that the 292--520-14P would fit, it doesn't, that's for the >2009 ones.
