Coming from aftermarket infested gsxr where you can find almost every part you ever wanted for it to a bike that has literally nothing available. :cuss:

Ok I know the Bergos shop, bought my dna filter from them but still. No parts for the motor elsewhere, no exhausts other than crappy slip-ons that don't do nothing but make big noise. It's really a shame to ruin perfectly potential bike by hiding all the go fast bits from consumers. Thats why you rarely see Bergs on supermoto races because you can't get it fast enough to match with jap bikes.

So the real question is has anyone tried and dyno tested the "semi full" Akra, that is only a short header pipe with nice looking can welded on it? Also the Doma full system that Bergos seem to sell. Do they make more power and mostly in the upper rpm range?

It would be really lovely if Akra made a full ti system for our 390/450/570 bikes. Right now all I have is a damn slip-on Akra...

Have a full FMF system on my Berg. Megabomb header and mid-pipe with Factory 4.1 silence with quiet insert. Really opened up the power and let the heat out.

Pics of it on bike? Looks interesting, but somehow I get the idea it's like Akra with just short length header pipe and stock mid-pipe....

Dyno charts?

Don't have any pics of it as it's covered with guards and such. It does NOT use the stock mid pipe as that is sitting on the shelf in my garage next to my destroyed head pipe. The FMF mid pipe is a larger diameter than the stock pipe.

Here is afew pics I took when I put the full FMF on my bike. Still going strong and crashes have not dented the curb feeler mega bomb :D .

Got it on my burg. Tigth fit. Hade the stock header and acra slip-on before. Change it to the full system, revs faster, and got some more grunt in the lover rpm's and more up top. But ofc. No dyno :(

Now this is getting somewhere.

Wish the Bergos one would be full ti. I don't feel the FMF silencer, but can live with it if it makes more powah.
Some dyno charts would just be awesome now.

I think I'll get the FMF full system. Mostly because it's titanium and It's more popular than Doma. Weight saving is more important to me than maybe 1hp difference.

Thats a tight fit, damn. 8O

So it comes only in stainless version? How is the sound with and without db killer compared to akra? My akra is obnoxiously loud...

Btw whats up with Bergos lately? They haven't replied to even single mail I have sent. I'm starting to get a bit worried where I'm gonna spend my money. I got my DNA filter from them, but it took over 3 weeks to get it and also had hard time to communicate with them. Sending my throttle body to them to bore it out is just plain scary to think about.

Need to know when they are having the 570 camshafts for sale, but nothing... this bike is a damn curse when there is only one place to get parts for it and you can't actually get the parts from them!!!

Injectioneering in California can do the throttle body boar - did mine out the 45mm(+3mm over stock) - motor work can be had for a price with either Thumper Racing in the USA or GWR in Europe - 610cc kits or 663cc stroker motor. Got to work at it a little harder than the orange cousin but there are tuners other than Bergos.

maKe. I used the Acra without the Db killer. But has'nt tryed Doma without yet. So it's not that loud, a bit over the EU stocker ofc, but not to loud. (Waiting fore new fule lines, so can test without the DB insert).

Torque Monster. Doe's GWR have a url ? ;)

Have a red hot go son.

I'll let you know how the 610 goes very soon :bounce:

Wow 663 motor. I have never liked big bore kits, because I'm quite sure the stock rod isn't going to last long with bigger piston. Can the motor revved like standard one with that huge stroker kit?

How is the throttle body boring done in real life? New butterfly valve along with bigger bore diameter and TPS calibrated? Thats what Bergos told me when I asked how they do it. I could bore it out myself in machine shop, but calibrating the TPS...mehhh.

If I can't get this bike revved higher or make better top end power, I think I need to make the motor bigger... decisions.

663cc get a custom billet crank w/ Carillo rod - not stock stuff. Injectioneering does all the stuff need to throttle body needed, Wade says he does all the stuff Bergos does.

Just got this the other day:

Havent installed it yet. Will probably do it next week. I may do a before and after dyno run as well.

In regards to the FMF header, would the stock pipe fit onto it? or would the header have to be modified? One of my local tracks pretty much needs to have stock pipes on the bikes as people have built up houses around the track... and complain about noise...... :cuss:

Please do(dyno). As for the FMF system, the header won't fit the stock mid-pipe. I think you can use the FMF full exhaust and then put just the stock muffler on. I test fit it once on the bench but I will try a mock up on the bike for you.

yeah sorry I meant the full FMF pipe (header+midpipe) fitting the stock can.
if it does fit, that means it should fit my Akra slipon as well?
Might be a good option for me!

It will fit.

The inside diameter is necked down on the stock muffler(on left) but it will slide on the FMF midpipe

These weren't cropped down on my photobucket account. Somehow it cut off the right side.

Awesome. Thanks mate :)
I might try run the FMF header and midpipe with my akra slipon.
