If All Goes To Plan I Should Be Having A 2004 FE450 Sat Where My VOR Is Currently Sitting.
What Do I Do First,Go And Ride Or Just Polish The Ti Akra Thats,41FCR And Black Excels Fitted To It?
Seriously Though,How Do The Ergos Compair With The 2001 400 That My Dads Got? Are The Bars The Same? And So On.
Oh Does The Later Type Rear Light Fit The '04?

the '04 just missed th new bars i think but i really can't be bothered to check the doc year models either....

the latest rear light is a retro fit so you're ok there.

I have always had an issue with the ergos, mainly the tank on the Husey. About the only thing I would change is to go to the (slim) aluminum tank , I have one on my '06 and it is very natural feeling. I would also remove the estart and battery to reduce weight.

Like To Have A Slimmer Tank But I Dont Like The Look Of Bare Alloy,Maybe Is If It Was Anodised...But Does It Not Weigh More Than The Plastic Versions?
The E-Start Really Needs To Stay,Unless Its REALLY Easy To Start,I Turned Both Legs Into Curlywhirleys In A Car Crash 5 Years Ago,Had To Have My Right Foot Reattached!!!!!!.
Struggle With Them Now,So Being Sensible Keep The Estart For Now.
Cant Wait,2004 With 2005 Crank,New Chain And Cam,All New Bearings,Serviced Forks.

i've got the slim tank, you know the one? in plastic, in yellow. nice 'n slim holds 7.5 litres. can really feel the difference and well worth the money.

Love To Have One Like Yours Taffy,But With My Luck I'd End Up With A Yellow Blob That Used To Be My Tank...Unless I Get A Spare One With The Extras The I Might Just Play :idea:
