I am guessing my husaberg is about a 95. It is an FE 350. I have recently re-painted it and am putting it back together. I am at a stop i need to find out what year it is to get the correct parts for it. The numbers are YU7FE350850000009 but i have no idea what year this is. And i am looking for a nice motocross style graphics kit to put on it as well. Jake

The last year for the FE350 was '96 I believe (it was shown in the '96 model brochure) but by then they had the 400 motor in production. I'm pretty sure that '95 and '96 were the only years for the yellow frame/plastic/tank and also the first years for the rear fender mounting on top of the sub-frame. A friend of mine has a '92 or '93 FE350 and it is mostly dark blue with the rear fender mounted under the sub-frame.

Hi Jake, I think you're mistaking the 10th digit on your frame as the number five instead of the letter "s". According to the"doc", if the tenth digit is the letter "s" your bike is a 95'.

Does anyone know how good running and fast these bikes are. It is a yellow frame and it does have plastics. The rear fender is mounted on top of the sub frame. Are these bikes hard to get parts for. I raced motocross for 8 years with a honda. This is my first husaberg. It was a basket case. The compression release is not there are they to hard to start without it? I like it already i want to put a nice motocross style graphics kit on it. When i can figure out how to put my pics on here i will post some.

Good luck in finding graphics and/or plastic for your '95 - UFO and Acerbis both made replacement plastic for the '97-'98 models but I doubt you can still find any and the color is different than the '95-'96 plastic and the rear fenders won't work with your sub-frame (I tried).

Here is a picture of my '96 FE501 right after I bought it and before I took it out and got it dirty for the first time. good luck on finding graphics for one ths old, however the graphics for the '97-'99 will work on yours as the radiator shrouds are the same mold (different color, though). The seat covers for the '97-'99 models may not work as the seats are 2-3" longer than the '96 and earlier (I later put an after-market aluminum sub-frame on my '96 so I could use the later type rear fender and had to get a '98 seat to go with it). The '00-'08 models have completely different plastic.

I have ridden a friend's FE350 and, compared to the FE501 I had at the time, it was pretty tame but much easier to ride in the woods on tight trails. They were a vast improvement over the Honda XR350s - much lighter and had way better suspension.
