Hey Guys and Gals,

looking at buying a FS650 Husaberg and have been given the choice of 2005 or a 2006. The 2005 is street legal already and the 2006 my dealer said would make it street legal and register the bike for me (I don't want to be stuck with a bike that I can not ride on the street). The difference in price is going to be $Cdn900 between the two.

Knowing the sh*te resell value of the two bikes I was thinking that I should just get the 2005 as there have not been any significant changes between the two model years. However it dawned on me that there might actually be a difference between a FS650e and a FS650C. However I haven't been able to figure out if there is a difference between the two. Is there any differences (apart from the lack of street equipement)?

I know in the end it will be my decision, just wanted some discussion on the topic from others in the know.

There have bees some changes, maybe not significant but certainly for the good.

Changes for 2006:

· Front Suspension: Adjusted setting of front forks for improved and smooth response

· Rear Shock: New piston rod, new setup, improved flow of oil for better conduct, reduced risk of bottoming, better functionality

· Front Brake: New 10mm master cylinder on all FE models in spec. EU/AUS for better regulation of the brake; as a further improvement of the high level HUSABERG braking system

· Rear Rim: All FS models with 4,25â€Â
