hi everyone can anyone tell me what parts i need to convert my fc2002 into road worthy i have fitted a new flywheel stator wiring loom front and rear light horn and light switch and wired it up as per diagram in users book and still no joy so i think i need another part to make it work or somthing my berg is just sitting there all alone i need to take it out and show it a good time :? :(

Hi Spenno
I'll try and help..
To ensure you have the correct stator/coil arrangement, you should have in your wiring loom 3 yellows (AC supply feeds) And a Black, Red & Green.
6 wires in total. The 3 yellows supply the various feeds to the lights, horn brake light etc and one of them charges your battery. The other three are for your ignition.
Check these first IMHO

Spenno,

The three thick yellow cables from the stator must be connected to some type of rectifier/regulator. I'm using KTMs regulator, see wiring diagram for Husaberg-03, FE models. This means that all AC current is fed to the battery via the regulator and then distributed to all "consumers". On the -02 one circut was used to charge the battery and one to fed the head ligts etc. which ment two regulators of which one was a simple voltage limiter (puts the current out in the frame if not used by the light etc.). This gave the advantage of always ensure charging of the battery, but it gave limited possibilities to add more consumers (helmet light etc). I have only good experience from my -03 conversion and it works with H4 head light and two 35W halogen lamps on my helmet.

Regards

Christer
