what is involved with derestricting a 2011 FS570?

Hello, I purchased my 2011 570 super moto as a leftover last spring. My dealer said
They could derestrict the bike once it is out of warranty, which it now is. What is involved in derestricting my bike?
Is it just fuel mapping or are there actual parts involved?

Dealer needs to unlock the ECU, and load a competition map.

This is after you/they remove the smog equipment. Also consider getting a different exhaust can, or cut the reducer in the stock can. I did the later, though, if you have the $400, just get a new muffler and don't look back.
