Riding in the sidecar class on Saturday #120. Not Husaberg powered tho'. KTM/MVP 650 2T with so much compression that you have to start it with the decompressor open ! Riding with Col Spicer another 501 owner. Would love to ride mine but not sure it would get onto the beach without breaking something expensive or defening the crowd with the whining. Still the best ornament I ever bought !!

Yes it's me. Back after several months on not being able to even look at the bloody bike !! The problem I was having at Penn Wood was a duff stator. Got that fixed by Gary Grover and then the kickstart jammed on day 2 of the Welsh 2 day. Bike went back to Gary again who diagnosed a whole side case full of gears from different production years and a clutch basket fitted by Clarkey with a bronze bush that should have had a needle roller !! Got it started again for the first time the other day and it now sounds even worse than ever. Going to run it for a few gentle trail rides and then check the gears for overmeshing and take a little off on the lathe if that is the problem. Was going to sell but I do have some conscience !!
