I got my 02 fe 501e on Sunday but I could not ride it or even start it until today because the previous owner sent the title and keys via fedex. I was forced to just sit there and look at the bike and tinker around with the suspension and stuff like that. I got the keys this afternoon and got to fire it up and take it for a little spin. I think this thing is pretty awesome. I am not used to riding such a light machine. I have been riding on the street for the last ten years. My last bike was a 2003 Suzuki Dl 1000 Vstrom, and my current street bike is a 2005 Triumph Rocket III which is very powerful but also pretty heavy. I am in the process of getting my Husaberg set up for me and customized to my taste. I think this forum is a great resource and it was one of the reasons I decided to go with a Husey. I f there are any issues to watch for or recommended modifications I would appreciate the advice.
