the new KTM 690 motard has a NEW LC4 engine which features Left side chain. it seems a bit strange KTM might make a new big bore engine for what is already a very popular and reliable design(LC4).

unless they have another purpose for making a new bigbore.

maybe berg will feature a prototype aluminum frame before it goes to KTM??? sure KTM has said in the past they are staying with CrMo, but they have just gone twin cam 450SX so maybe chassis will be their next project.

sometimes these rumours are half true. i guess time will tell.

i agree the thing looks like a duck billed platypus. seems a little on the heavy side to me too. but 63 hp would probably be a bit of fun still.
