Hello!

I have a Husaberg 650 FS from 2003.

Two questions;

1: There is a weep hole near the water pump. It leaks oil from there. What do I need to change?

2. There is also a weep hole underneath the engine block, near the stator. It leaks oil here too. What do I do?

Best regards
Robert

well the second one is just simply a drain from the spark plug area so now you need to ask; 'how is oil getting down near the spark plug?'.

if oil is coming out of the weep hole it will be any of these;
no intermediate shaft O ring
seal has come away from the side face of the polyamide bearing in the left engine cover
the polyamide bearing is worn and the seal is not so good anymore.

either way, get the o ring done and a new bearing and see if that doesn't cure it.

BTW, you'll wreck the water pump seal trying to do all this let alone a gasket or two.

Plenty of info on this site about weephole leaks, just Google it, not a difficult job.
What do you mean by under the engine block? Do you mean the very bottom if the stator housing? Take a picture if that helps.

If it leaks from the weep hole in the stator cover, the main seal is most probably shot.

As for the waterpump weep hole, what Taffy said.

i don't think so.....

50% of the time the cases have gone because the mains have gone.

I had a crank seal go on a fs650 for no reason and crank was fine just pushed in a new one and it was fixed.

Same here. A little wear on the shaft? Place seal a little in or out of its original position or a wider seal?
Hope its nothing more serious.
