Hey guys

i have a big problem with my Husaberg FE 570 2009. My Husa leaks coolant from that little hole at the water pump cover. I tried a new 2.0 bar cover for the radiator... but it didnt help. I changed the water pump seals... didnt help. I cant find the damn problem :/ hope you guys can help me, thanks! :?

hhhhm....sounds like something is broken but i do not know what :bounce:

Could be a few things, some left the factory with the seal in backwards so if you replaced them the same way it will still leak, on my bike it ended being a crap head gasket.

I had this trouble. you should buy a kit with a modified seal in it.

mine just started leaking coolant too (out of the weep hole). Popped off the cover and removed the impeller, and the seal looked fine. So, I took off the rear portion of the exhaust, the kicker, popped off the cover and . . . low and behold, the water pump impeller shaft was grooved. Guess a metal bit from the tranny or motor got stuck just inside the seal lip and grooved the shaft.

Ugh, now I have to split the cases and replace the shaft. Which of course, begs the question, do I just go ahead and replace all the bearings since I'm already in there? Kinda wish I just suffered with the slight weeping coolant issue and never went this far . . .

this thread was and still is for a 2009.

and you want to hijack it for another subject.....

glad I saw a new thread by you or you would be getting the 40 tongue whip!!!!!!
