hey guys, just a quick question, what is the torque spec for the valve covers. i get to adjust mine for the first time today :p

Thanks!

i doubt if you'd be able to get a torque wrench on them. a good tightening tecnic is to choke up on the 4mm allen wrench and just snug them enough to no not vibrate loose and not too much to warp the cover (or strip the thread). i believe they are 5mm fine thread and prolly would be less than 10 footpounds max. too many people overtighten them. dry the cap surface and apply a slight film of sealant, let it tack up for a bit and put on a dry gasket to fix it to the cap. leave the cam cover dry and the next time you go in, the gasket will easily come off with the cap.

in the manual there is 2 cylinder head screws, M10 and M6, i have yet to lookm, but are the bolts labeled?

M10 = 50Nm
M6 = 10Nm
