Hi Dan,

Camshafts will interchange from inception through 2000.

Most early Husaberg engines (Through 1996) used 10 mm rocker shafts. 2003 rocker arms require a 12 mm shaft and consequently a different cover. I have on occasion modified early covers to accept 12 mm shafts.
I have also installed needle bearings in late model rocker arms to accommodate the early 10 mm shaft. Unfortunately neither alternative is cheap.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Dale
