is there any interest in a "FR5 UK"?

would suggest Wales again as the best riding in the UK.

I know Devon around Oakhampton well enough to take 3 days riding?

but its better to ride than sit at home or to TALK ABOUT IT!!!!

previous rides have been to
2011 Llangollen (North-East Wales)
2012 Dolgellau (North-West Wales)
2013 Rhayader (East-Mid Wales)
2014 Ystradgynlais (Mid-South Wales)

let's keep this going lads, please give your full support!

Date would be the first May Bank Holiday weekend as usual 2015 and for the Friday to Sunday inclusive. there's no fee just a deposit that goes towards a T-shirt of just £15. Camp or Guest Hose etc it matters not.

the two Dutchmen that came over this year reckoned they had ridden in 15 countries and it was the best riding they'd ever done BUT; "why so many phukin gates"!!!!!!! so it came second to some alpine pass in Italy where you can see for 100KM on a clear day blah! blah! (LOL!)

i'd be up for it if its near rhyadder or brecon beacons

id have to hire a van to take it any further (1 gallon tank)

I can't see any way that your bike will green lane? 1 gallon? no suspension, immaculate finish, wrong tyres?

the list is endless. try it first and if you get on fine then fine but from here it isn't a green lane contender.

I just thought it would have been fun trying :D you know a bit of an adventure, thanks for the warm welcome, ill make sure I spend lots more with you ;)

Don't get upset ... Yours is a very cool bike. It is just the wrong bike for that ride. Taffy was just being straight with you. When people show up with the wrong bike or skill set to specific events it taxes the other riders as well as themselves.

I'd love to do this but, alas, I'm on the wrong side of the big pond.
My daughter just got accepted to the Law program at Liverpool ... Who knows, I may get the opportunity to visit in the next couple years.

I was at the Dragon Rally this weekend and did a lot of runs in North Wales. the weekend we have tradionally run - the first May bank holiday: there is the Taffy Dakar in the South at the same time.

I'm looking for a commitment now, there are only a handful of us so I need to get this right? how many days do you want to ride? there are 3 days. Friday, Saturday AND Sunday. go home Sunday night and you have all day Monday to clean them up.

Fergus hgas said yes and he'll bring Sean with him but I can't trust Fergus (sorry if you're reading this Fergus!).

if you're happy for me to organise the riding I just need the commitment. please don't say 'yes' unless you have checked everything.

more UHE members are welcome!

regards

Taffy

OK I'm looking at the Wye Valley for this years ride. this is near Usk just into south east Wales.

just to remind you
this is the 5th year
you can ride one Husaberg rider to one rider on another make
other than that rule = all are welcome
it'll be three days riding and you should perhaps try and ride two of the three minimum.

riding days are friday1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May. most arrive Thursday night and go Sunday evening straight after the third day.

all we need are 5-6 of us.

I can get loads of routes for that area. I have done the riding that way last Summer and it is sublime. good - but not stupid like some of it can get in the Brecons or on the vertical mountains. this should be the easiest year.

there is a lack of gates in this area compared to normal. the nearer you get to England = the less there are!

as Fergus and I plus probably Sean are up for it = who else have we.

I need 'yes' not 'maybe' now as people are always pulling out and being unreliable. sorry but it is the truth of it.

please don't say:
"i should be OK.............."
"I'm pretty certain.........."

sorry for being a pig about it but there you are!

BTW, it went ahead with 20, 24 and 16 and then last year - 3. so it WILL go ahead this year with 3 again. it is on.

we are considering a guest house this year or better still - over a pub but near a camp site. I'm 54 soon and I like the idea. the camp site will be HQ if more are there.

if we get to 10 I'll ask for a deposit and get some T-shirts made again as we did the first 3 years.

Trust issues Taffy?!

Please appreciate that when someone has a broken leg, a family matter or a business issue they usually take care of those before sodding off riding. There is no riding without earning for many mortals, and those with family that want to keep their family, also prioritize accordingly.

Maybe it was your poor choice of words but I deeply resent being labelled 'untrustworthy' by you of all people.

well perhaps your right, sorry about that. I hope I can put my shirt on you then...it's a big shirt!

lol get over yourself dude, I gave a yes and was shot down in flames with the pathetic idea that I only own 1 husaberg.

tool

LOL 3 riders :D maybe a change of organizer/promoter would get more attendance

I could say I did an OZ force ride yesterday FFS 2 bergs and a KTM

anyone want me to get shirts made up send a PM

Bushie quote:

Wonder if this "wolf nut's" thing on the back of the shirt
Pmsl....

Sorry hi jack thread for a sec Taffy ....

flattracker

your bike just isn't suitable OK. I didn't mean to offend you but how many ways can i put it to you? your bike is an immaculate masterpiece and people fall off their bergs every 50 yards.

between you and the site troll, yet again you're phuqing up a perfectly good thread....
why are you so bitter about it? you could have PM'd me and asked for the suitability of the bike and we could have kept it low key?

the idea, Troll, is that you start with the 3 and let it grow.

I spent a weekend in Wales before the ride last year and would do the same again this year - or find a leader again, which i can as the TRF chair lives in that very locale.

why nobody says anything to you I do not know. as I've said before - people are so weak. this isn't a technical issue folks, this is what it looks like...the site troll just phuqin things up again. another thread trashed, another trip ruined.

4 years of hard work down the pan and you all sit there like the pansies you are

BS Taffwad i just offered you the bleeding obvious reason you get a poor turnout as a constructive criticism

you can't take it so you've yet again wreaked your own thread .. *****

click on the link below to see reviews from a nice little ride with Taffy

Gruntenberg Simon Spiney and Cypher are all UK berg owners. really think you can blame a ride count of 3 on everyone else for being "unreliable"

you really need viagra eye drops and a mirror

http://husaberg.org/marketplace/8767-husaberg-going-****-up-3.html

right i'm not putting up with the comments made on here.

i've tried to bite my tonge but **** it.

taffy i find you rude and arrogant.
with such an inflated ego i cant believe

on the isle of man trip you where rude to the hosts on several occasions. particularily in the resturant on the last night when you started taking the piss out of the local pronunciation of 'juan' was almost verging on racist

you made disparraging remarks about our guide, a chap you had only met for a few hours.

you pissed me off big style, which you should know cos i told you straight.

you also, i think cos i didnt discuss in with them, missed off most of the others there.

and if you want to have a go a about peoples ability i seem to recall it was mostly richard our guide, stuart and me at the front when the pace picked up, where were you?

]

listen Troll

your quote is from 2008.

we started the force rides in 2011. Cypher came on three of the four.

the first one was organised by myself and if I hadn't done IT, IT wouldn't have happened!

since when did you let a solid fact get in the way of the bollocks you talk.

this time it isn't my business or me but a perfectly good ride out you have railroaded. proof that you won't stop at anything due to your bitterness...

Taffy

the first one was organised by myself and if I hadn't done IT, IT wouldn't have happened!

But after it was suggested by another member, so you take someone else's idea and claim it as your own!

Now you're saying the trip is ruined because other people are pointing out (again) your lack of respect/tactfulness/politeness talking to other members.

As someone who is supposed to make their living from these bikes and getting a lot of custom through the site you of all people should treat the other members, especially newer members with some respect.

The members who don't speak English as their first language may miss the edge to what your saying or just put it down to the "English" sense of humor.
The majority of English speakers see you for what you are, hence the lack of interest in this years trip.

Obviously in your little world I've added another nail to the rides coffin, it couldn't possibly be down to you could it?

I haven't claimed to have the idea?

what have i "claimed"?

I've claimed to have organised the rides, and that is all.

previous force rides are riddles with half-hearted promises to go and not even a courtious 'sorry' etc when they can't. a great deal of effort has gone into previous rides. people are very self-centered to the point where someone once said that anyone who organises these rides is a fool because nobody gives a sh*t.

its easy to sit on the fence and whinge, its probably why Ed doesn't bother leading anymore. all that effort and people don't even have the manners to thank him.

its easy to sit there and whinge. as I'm not paid for this - I don't have to listen to it. I did the Dragon Rally last weekend with reliable people who wanted to be there, the event/ride went ahead because people committed to do it. that's why I'd rather say it here and get it straight.

the two that are interested will either say yah or n... well nothing. worries me not - now, but it pisses me right off stood in the middle of a camp site expecting 20 when 12 turn up. I don't have time for people like that anymore. talk is cheap.

not really being any moderators any more doesn't keep any of us from seeing a problem here. bushie, you need to see somebody about your anger problem. taffy is who he is, like him or not, trying to organize a riding event is hard to do. you had no business jumping into this thread with those kind of comments.
as for flattracker, nobody said he couldn't join the ride, i think he should go. comedy relief is hard to find nowadays.
