where would we all be if it wasnt for this man, probably on ktm's going over the bars

Where would HUSABERG in the USA be if not for this site!! When KTMNA gave up the import rights to the Knights  we all know what a fiasco that was! I believe it was Schwin (Jason) and this site that saved HUSABERG in the US.

THANK YOU JASON :thumbright:

THANK YOU BMG for improving the US Market

..and who single handly destroyed the reputation of Husaberg in the USA in 2006?

answer: Yours truly, bigbob and his pencil.

whilst i think that json is brill and i gave more than anyone after ken in the above jesture... i cannot see how this site has any influence whatsoever on anything that anyone does.

correction!

the owners doc is so awesome that any sheyteforbrains dealer could come on UHE and get the CORRECT info for the CORRECT mod, CORRECT parts and the CORRECT procedure to do it CORRECTLY.

i don't think what we do means diddly. i wouldn't have stayed around if it hadn't been for Lineaweaver. i'm 100% sure of that. and whilst i enjoy being a a mechanical geek i can't see how others have been attracted the same way.

i'd even go as far as to say that as a community - and it is one for sure - we are too tight sometimes! sometimes i think that the banter between us infront odf a newbie MUST be off putting!

i have put a lot in and got a lot out. if pool halls were the bodes of a mispent youth in the post war years then UHE has truly been my house of vain!

my point remains though, that we have done nothing, not even a dink.

regards

Taffy

Such is an every day occurence and is shouted from the mountain tops regarding how wise they are.

My perspective:
UHE is a portrait of many artists. Json has selflessly supplied the canvas, color and brush.

The "Owners Doc" is a work of art and a testament to many, however, in my opinion one man truly stands out.... Taffy.

Great job mate!

Cheers,
Dale

I disagree.

I was interested in a Husaberg and was directed to this site. Reading the post on the FE450 convinced me I was doing the right thing.
Maybe I would have still bought the Berg but this site helped in my decision making.

I would not be riding a berg today if it wasn`t for this site and the people here. I have learned many things and have tried to return the favor by passing the word to others. This site is the greatest and with out it Husaberg would be a voice crying in the wilderness. My thanks to Json for opening peoples eyes and getting the word out.

Since I'm a Swedish bike junkie and have been riding Husky's since the 80's and bergs since 94 I can't say that this site has swayed me, but......when I bought my first new series motored bike (an 03) I knew little about the changes other than a counterbalancer being added. Today, thanks to tinkering with my new bike and studing the service/parts manuals I know the inner workings of the thing. But, most impotantly, I know many of the little tricks needed to overhaul it correctly, bulletproof the bike, and make it perform better. That info always comes from this site! This site is a godsend for Berg owners!

taffy, i can not see how you say ' we have done nothing not even dink' . when i needed advice it was you who gave it , also dale and many others . i look at the number of posts you have made and conclude that you have helped a lot of people , and saved them money . and what about the doc ?
credit where it is due , here in perth aust , i have 1 dealer who gets no support from the distributor [ ktm ] . he has no information , and he bends over backwards to help . if it was not for this site i would not plan to buy my next HUSABERG FE 550 E 07 model [ can't wait ] :-({|=

i think that unklemooses comment was sincere without necassarily being the truth-even in his own opinion but there is no way this group affects outside those that visit it.

i would go this far though, i bet we do more good than even the best dealer, or importer, anywhere in the world!

so we do the work of perhaps the best dealer...

regards

Taffy

What about the dealers who post here?
That must make them the best of all wouldn't you say?

Actsheerly, my very good man, the forum goes back to the days of hosting on "infosprite" - the days when the lists grew to no more than three pages and then disappeared. So if you asked a question and then went away on business, you'd be knackered!

Then one day Jason came out of the closet about his net-S&M tendencies! and built this whole site single handedly. The dates on the membership list are from a site rebuild following a crash of the earliest version.

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Simon,

Correct you are, however, I have learned to post only that which I may readily prove, hence the link. :D

Hope you are doing well.

Best Regards,
Dale

PS
I did PM asking our beloved host to once again tell his story.

As many of you know, Json is in Arizona for the Phoenix ride and will be returning home in a few days. I have been keeping the riders here in Az informed about the interesting topics on UHE. I told Json about this post and he was modest to say the least.... what a humble dude he is. Anyhow, he mentioned that he would be anxious to here what everyone had to write about him upon his return home.
I personally agree with all of you that Json has done the Husaberg a great service by establishing this site. I believe also that this site is the single greatest point of information for the Berg owner in the world. Without Json and his vision this site would not be here. Without great members like we have no information would be here. This site is the make-up of both together and would not be what it is without one or the other. :thumb: Thumbs up to you Json and all of you who contribute unselfishly to make this site what it is... I :salute: you all!!!

Regards,
