I have cut out a couple of slots in the rear underside of the seat of an 04 Berg and fitted a pair of tyre levers under there. They are a neat fit and just sit there without moving once the seat is fixed in place with the rear screw.I have heard of a few wanting to fit a set of levers under the seat but never seen anyone do it.

I have a digital photo to show, however my computer skills are limited and I dont know how to attach the photo to this.

If someone could explain in detail how to do this I will send the photo.
Thanks!!

I think the easiest way is to request a gallery and simply put it in there. I for one would like to see photos of this!

enginenumber,

I dont carry levers when I ride, because I cant get far enough away from the ute.

If I did have to, in stead of cutting holes in anything, I'd pop-rivet a couple of small webbing straps, say 15mm (just over 1/2") to the underside of the seat, where the airbox void is, in order to have the levers in a tool roll and tied up or use those nylon buckle clips.

last resort would be to drill 4 holes, say 5" apart (or less than the lever length), one each side of where the lever is to sit at each end, and push through a large cable tie, preverably the ones you can re use, but I think the webbing and clips is more reliable.
