I have the subframe tank, which effectively eliminates the hand holds on the rear of the bike and I'm nervous to lift on the subrame tank... I'm curious what others have come up with to solve this issue? Do Tugger straps work? I'm not exactly sure how they attach to the rear of the bike? Have you come up with another option? I've thought about ordering the Husaberg soft tie downs ($7.99) and trying to make my own by running them under the spot where the hand holds used to be, but again would rather not recreate the wheel if someone else has already solved this issue... Thoughts? Pictures? Ideas? Thank you!

Here is a thread that shows you how to mount the Tugger strap.

At first I didn't want to use that method because I didn't want to drill holes in the fender. But I finally decided there were no other good methods. The fender is not super strong, but so far it has worked well enough for moving the rear end of the bike around.

never used the hand holds as they are in such a crap position.

always lifted holding the edge of the rear fender where the subframe tapered out, never noticed any wear issues.

Anyone have a Tugger on the pre-70 degree bikes?
Mine's an '08, and I'm wondering about the fit.

I've got a Tugger on my 2011 FE570S. I love that thing, and I didn't have to drill a hole in anything.

I asked Tugger, and they didn't even know if it would fit an '08. I could've used one last weekend when I buried the rear wheel in mud.
