With the press on offroadchampions.com about the 380, I see posts on KTM talk of interest in a 380.
So is Husaberg trolling the 380 in an effort to hype up a new model?
I hope so, I have a 380 and it's real good. A 450 is too much and a 250 4 stroke doesn't have enough so the 380 fits a gap, but I'm lucky to have a friend who is a good tech to put the kit in or it would have been an extra cost. It's for sale after this weekend, if I win the 4 stroke A championship!
It' hard to compare the 2, the 380 is quick like a Berg should be, but without the mid and top hit. The last KTM 400 I rode was soft on bottom but revved out good, where the Berg has more bottom end response.
Sorry for the quote! Mud400, it's a funny thing what cc's do for the wieght of the bike. The 380 ridden back to back with a 450 feels 10lbs lighter! I was reluctant to try the 380 kit at first, but after riding it I was suprised how much better it handled.
