Looking for some advice on hubs, and to a lesser extent rims. I want to put 17's on an 05 FE550, but do not have the funds to go OEM.
Has anyone had any experience with Haan wheels or Gienhart? or what would you all recomend?
Do any aftermarket hubs come with cush drives? Any advice would be super.

Buy the wheels complete from Husaberg or KTM. You will not find a set for much less money than that....

There are quite a lot of used OEM wheel sets knocking around so it's worth keeping your eyes peeled for those.

As for cush or not - cush drive is preferable but not absolutely necessary. On a race track you can gain a little valuable time without the cush but on the road it's better the other way round.

All the best,
Simon

If you want the gearbox to last a bit longer then Cush. Talk to Glenn Hoffman at Glenn Hoffman Racing he imports the Haan wheels and all his team desert racers use the cush drive ie Damien and Ben Grabham.

Keep an eye on eBay. They get listed here all the time & seem to bring about 1/4 to 1/2 new price.
