I am trying to replace my timing chain master link the problem that I am having is the pins don't stick out far enough that I can stake them they are flush with the link and that is with the link pressed on so tight that it is in a bind I am using a motion pro chain riveter. could I have the wrong master link ? although it looks like the right one to me. thanks for any advice Vince

Do u have a Regina or an Iwis cam chain ?

The regina is much wider and requires the correct link. The Regina is a black colour and the Iwis is usually a silver colour.

I prefer the Regina chain as it lasts alot longer.

The pins of the link should protrude about 1.5mm each side before riveting.

Hi,

last week I changed my timing chain.
There are 3 different width of different chains.
The regina is the thickest one. So I needed another
chainlink.
So you have to order also a new one.

greetings
