Ive been tossing around the idea of an fcr for my 01 650 for the better part of a year. This spring my bike has been an absolute bi#<£ to start. My usual ritual used to have it lite in three kicks. This year, it has been upwards of 40 kicks. Then it runs fine and restarts first kick. I figured I couldn't go through the season like this. The other evening it just would not go. Got pissed, ordered an fcr I had been eying on eBay, ordered a jet/ needle kit from Taffy and decided it was time. Went out to try the bike later from dead cold. Modified my start procedure from 5 kicks no ignition or compression to 10 kicks. It lit first kick :eek: oh well, everything is on its way.

NICE CHEEF !!

It's better, but if everything is correct, with the dellorto it should also be easy.

Well ... but I've also installed one FCR ... LOL

Cheers
