do any of you guys know where I can get a thicker head gasket or have some made for a 01 470 x My head was worped and I dont want to have the cam chain fly off or wear a hole in my cases, I thought one of the guys in the UK would have had a need for one. I want to surface my head about 5 thousands. it would be great if some one knows if this will work ? Thanks

if its only 5 thou should be OK with std gasket ?
the JBS ones I used on my 650 came out 12 thou thinner than OEM with 80N.m tourque on special head studs it worked ok just needed to check everything, piston to valve clearence, degree the cam squish etc.

there is some bollicks about thicker headgaskets in the DOC 8)
