My 650 had developed a slight weep of oil from around 20 hours.
I am at 109 hours now and today I noticed the color has changed
to powdery white mixed with the oil.
Oil looks fine in the sight glass and coolant looks fine. Just the color
of the weep has started to change.
What's happening?

OK, So let's I attempt to answer my own question.
Whereas the weep hole leak has been a slight amount of oil,
it now appears to be letting a little coolant by also.
All be it a small amount.
Therefore, I shall proceed to prepare for the next roost and
look to see the appearance thereafter.

Consider the weephole as a tell tale hole, and the space behind it as "no mans land" The tale is in this case that it started with an oil leak and the weep turned white as a water leak came along. The weephole lets the leak out in the open insted of mixing taking place... That is if the leak isn't too big and the hole not blocked...

Just as you describe it yourself.....

So why this reply... I really don't know :), But I would like to know what a roost is ??

All the best,
Anders, DK

Well I do appreciate the reply Husaden.
"The next roost"
To roost would be to open it up. Get on it and kick up
some dirt.

Thanks Cafey,
That's the one I will get when it becomes much needed. Up until now
the weep is just a small one .
