Hi everyone,

After much hoohaa and fanfare(queue the streamers), HusabergStore.com is now online and ready to go!

To celebrate the first online presence to purchase Husaberg parts, the UHE is going to give $25 in gift certificates to one person every month.

Every person who has ordered from Husabergstore.com during the month will be entered into the drawing for the $25 gift certificate. The gift certificate will be awarded to the winner at the beginning of the next month.

Now there's a requirement for this to occur:

If the UHE site doesn't make it's quota on donations for the month AND I can not afford to purchase the gift certificate that month, then the names will be held over until the next month that it can happen. You don't lose your chance at winning the gift certificate, you simply have to wait a month or two for the drawing to occur. This does decrease your chances, but there's some months where I simply can't help it.

Although there's only 8 days left in this month, we're still starting it, so this would be the month to do it, as you have the best chance of winning the gift certificate. Do the math people! ;)

I hope you guys find it useful, and if there's any suggestions or complaints concerning the store, please be sure to share it with me. I'm very curious to see what people's ideas are.

thanks,

Additional Parts?

Hey schwim

I just visited the new store, it is nice to finally see a site with images and pricing where one can just click and order parts! It gets old calling or emailing dealers and having to wait days to get an answer on availability and pricing! And driving to my local Husaberg dealer, which is an hour away, always seems useless for they never seem to have parts even as simple as spark plugs! Are there any plans to add additional products? It would be nice to see additional items such as top end rebuild kits, pistons, clutchs, valves and Husaberg riding gear. It would also be nice to see items that are available from site members like Lineweaver or who ever made the radiator guards.

Just a fellow Husaberg riders opinion...
Thanks
Don

thanks for the opinions

Hi there Don,

There's a good chance that new things will be added to the cart. Right now, we're making sure everything works as it should(so far it does), and Dan & Ann are becoming familiar with the workings of it. Once all that's out of the way, we'll see what Dan wants to do with it.

It's best that others do just what you did, that being specifically state what you would like most to see in the store. "Everything", "Lots of stuff" and statements of that sort are a little too ambiguous to help us, since realistically we can't get it all in there..

thanks.... maybe

Hi there Bluto,

I'm not sure if the link was intended to help us to our stated purpose, or an attempt to correct my previous statement.

If it was to help us, you'll have to clarify.

If it was to correct my previous statement, I still stand buy it. I'd found this before, and I consider a cart a categorized database of items to purchase. I couldn't find a way to purchase anything on the site, and there's no categorizations, just pages and pages of items. Of course, I miss a lot due to the language barrier, even w/a translation service, so I might be way off base on the site.

I had this site in my bookmarks, and wanted to share it with you guys.
Now when I try to buy something it doesn't work, like you said.
It's just a bunch of pics.....

me? wrong? ok, once about that whole Nuclear safety thing..

Hi there Bluto,

I'd had the link for some time as well, but I had never seen where it offered the availability to purchase on it. If it ever had it, they must have removed it, in which case my statement would be a falsehood.

I should have said "to my knowledge" ;)

thanks,

When opening my link with Firefox you just can browse the pics.
But when opening with Internet Explorer you can order stuff.Just found out and wanted to share it with you.

Hi there Bluto,

I've tested it in IE 5.0-6.0, Firefox and Opera, and all allow me to add to cart. When I choose to check out, it then asks me to login or register. I haven't been able to duplicate it allowing me to checkout without the info(since the script needs the registered info to pass along to the payment service).

During the checkout process, it will ask you to create an account before proceeding to the payment system(PayPal).

As stated in another post, it makes it tough to ship without the proper info.

thanks,
