Have not had to work on my two bergs for a while and came here to find some info and I can't fine "the doc"
WTF.

Hey Bob, Eric and David. This is like an old school class reunion!
Where's Ned? :pottytrain5:

Hey you old timers

I have to say I am still riding a 550 and 650 and they are as reliable as a Dr650!

I'm afraid we may be seeing the end of one of the very best off road bikes ever. Too bad because I have been piling the miles on these since 2001

We need an old timers reunion
Small group of 10 or so week of riding?

Week of riding? I am lucky to get weekends off. It truly sucks owning a small business, unless you are Taffy.

I was in Fallon for the first time a few months back. 12 hour drive from San Diego. I saved a pair of Simmons UDX-60 forks from extinction. A gent by the name of Lynn lives on 10 acres and has a ton (150-300) of old bikes laying around, 6-7 sheds and an old school bus full of parts. Lots of Hodaka stuff. Most of the bikes are in pretty rough shape. No Husaberg parts. It was a great way to spend a few hours on a Sunday. My wife wasn't so sure but after seeing how much bike stuff he has she no longer thinks I have a problem.

Hi Bob:

The new owner of the site, Zen, has assured the faithful that it will be restored and added to the site.

In the meantime wayback machine has it archived
Main Page - Owner's Doc

Can we sticky this in every forum atleast until the real one exists again? I hate having to remember where this post is (since I never venture to supermoto) and I'm sure anyone who searches the forum and finds a reference to "The Doc" has as much trouble as I have been finding it again.

Thanks!

Ive known Lynn for 25+ years
He used to have a shop for mainly vintage MX and before that he was a hi way patrol . He used to have a beautiful AJS and many other classics.
If you ever need something from him let me know and I can go pick it up for you. My kids live in Ventura and we visit often

Yep that's him, retired Hiway Patrol and ex bike shop owner. He still has the AJS and its in great condition. He has a few vintage bikes in very good condition as well, a Montesa that was nice. The amount of Hodaka parts was unbelievable. He had just got back from Hodaka Days and picked up a yet another Hodaka (he has a bunch). His wife must be very understanding to say the least. Thanks for the offer.
