In two weeks the UK leaves the EU and I want to tell you of the affects it will have on customers.
Outside the EU
No Change at all.
In the EU
Paddies, Poles, Frogs, Krauts, Danes, Swedes, Finns, Cloggies, Belgiuns, Luxembergers, Eyeties, Greeks, Spaniards, Portuguese, Hungarians, Slovaks, Czechs, Slovenians, Andorrans, Croatians, Bosnians, Bulgarians, Cypriots, Estonians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Austrians, Romanians and the Maltesers.
To you; we have been selling our parts without VAT to Norway, Iceland and Switzerland saving them 20% over YOU all this time. You will now be joining them!
So it is 20% off at Taffmeisters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now 'some' bad news, not a lot but some. We fill in a customs form with the value of goods written on it. You will pay import duty and a further post fee to get it to your door. Often the extra post is more than the excise duty (tax you pay)
HOWEVER, TAFFMEISTERS ARE NOTORIOUSLY LIBERAL WITH THE VALUE OF THE ITEMS HELD IN THE PARCEL. YOU PAY TAX ON WHAT WE SAY IS IN THE PARCEL!
If you have a small parcel you'll save because it won't be taxed and comes to you like 'magic'.
If you have a large/high value parcel, you'll pay SOME tax but save a lot of money. You will however get this secondary post cost in some Countries. How much for secondary post? usually in the 12 Euro area.
So, this is mostly a blessing to you guys!
