First of all, Today something new, I have never wrote a bad review so I am not one of those who **** around the internet.
I am just a ''nomarl guy'' with a passion that goes up and down depending on the weather but this is related to
something important to us. Mechanics are also the key for keeping our passion running, we all have found good one and
bad one, so this is my story about a mechanic that i thought was good and it came out be a nightmare.
Bought a husaberg 650 with engine been rebuild by taffy (David) not the kind of guy down the road but a ''professional'' with
years of experience ...and here's what I found
1)air filter mouldy
2)old dirty oil (I only road the bike for total of 6 hours, 3 oil change, oil still dirty)
3)no exaust gasket (pissing oil all over)
4)dead or **** battery (charged it) it was in the bin 2 months later
at this point you think well engine just been rebuild shouldn't be any suprise (wrong...F----- WRONG)
bike smoke and smoke on start...also when I was releasing the clutch in first gear the bike was bugging
and all the suprise and joy came out after taking the engine apart
1)can chain tensioner had a double spring, A F---- DOUBLE SPRING I used to double spring my pen back in school but not my F.... CAM CHAIN TENSIONER
2)we replaced clutch driving sleeve and fixed the starting first gear
3)engine head wasnt in place was leaking oil from the head gasket
4)ENGINE HEAD been told wasn't damaged from the previous blow up well WRONG it has been repaired and skimmed with poor result
NOW
1)now we need to understand as there is still a leaking in the head we replace the valve seal but still persists
so what we need to find now is if i have to bin the engine head or bin the valve as he could have put some used one for what we know
2)piston is new( so engine rebuild was recent) unfortunately we cant tell if the rings were put correctly maybe we need to break the
entire engine to pieces
3)I already wrote an email to taffy a week ago, I was told in the email that the head was damaged from valve etc.
but unfortunately is just not head was damage welded and skimmed
4)I believe it was all set up I mean cam chain and everything ...I am feeling that this guy put it together with the purpose to explode soon
so he could sell me some part to fix it ...isn't it???
hope you all read my experience and have twice the thought before using this guy...for me NEVER EVER AGAIN
