Last weekend the mighty '10 fe570 berg went for a big swim, completley under and stalled and got a good compression lock. Had to drain the water from the exhuast, pull the air filter out and dry it and take the plug out to pump the water out of the cylinder. I ran the spark plug under a bit of petrol screwed her in pushed the button and wham off she went never missed a beat.
Its now been almost a week and I'm just wondering what you people would do just to make sure it is going to continue to keep working. it was in fresh water but im still a bit worried I should do something like flush it or something?. Maybe it's just something with these fuel injection things but I was suprised how easy she took off again.

I'd take it for lessons - make sure it never happens again. if it can just get the hang of the front crawl then I'm sure this incident won't occur again

at a minimum you should change the oil as soon as possible just to be safe. most oils should go a bit of a milky color if they are doing their job properly and absorbing any water that has made its way past the rings. i've never drowned a bike but remember reading that somewhere, be worth googling for more info.

I've changed oil for about 8 times till it was not milky then changed the spark plug because it was dead and new air filter, but first of all i put the bike up side down and spin the wheel for few times to get all the water out.
