when this thing is cold the clutch hesitates to disengage even after pulling clutch in ang out many times there is plenty of fluid and it doesnt seem to have in the system the bike only has 16 easy hours on it .

What oil are you using?
How cold are we talking?
You should add your location in your profile so we know where you are from.

I use Motorex Cross Power 4T fully Synthetic 10W/50 and I do notice the bike "clunks" more when going from Neutral to 1st when it is cold. Cold as in winter Sydney weather about 10C. I usually give the bike a push as I select 1st when it is cold.
That's all I notice on my bike, I don't notice the bike not disengaging to the point where it is still trying to move forward. There is definately a difference when the clutch is cold like there is a hint of the engine revs dropping a little more when I go from Neutral to 1st.
Maybe it's the oil you are using or it's real cold where you are? See what the other UHE people say.

I have a FE390 and mine stalls when cold too (I am in Canberra where its colder) - must be normal; I use the factory recommended oil.

Yeah, mine will stall too when dead cold, idling and select 1st gear without pushing it forward. Must be normal.

Fizz the Tigers are coming to Canberra Stadium Friday night to shake the place up.
Go the Tigers

Try living in a warmer climate ? Dont stress its not a problem with your bikes, try starting it amd idle it for a few minutes, shut it down then gear up and let the heat soak in then go riding ! FWIW I run truck oil in mine and the low temps here in winter are flat out making it into the low teens.

Picked up my new '10 'Berg FE450 a month ago, and the clutch plates stick when the machine is cold. And our weather here in BC has been pretty warm so it's not a climate thing.

I asked Zach, the owner of International Motorsports (where I purchased the bike) if the sticky plates was an issue, evidently the 570's and the 450's are known for this.

So, I let the bike warm up, and end of problem.

Aren't these bikes kickass? I was single tracking a CRF450R, and the 'Berg is twenty times the bike. And I've owned Hondas my whole life. Jimmy Lewis cost me ten grand............. :D

I have one hour on my 2010 390, same issue.also you can't push it in gear with the clutch pulled.I'm taking mine to the dealer . we will see what they say

My 2010 FE 390 Cluncked hard into 1st, stalled once during my first hour ride. with the bike off , in 1st gear and clutch lever depressed you could not roll the bike either. After a week in shop they told me there was nothing wrong everything checked ok. They said ,"It would be a problem if I was in gear clutch in and the bike would creep foward, ride it some more".
I'm in So California, went to hungry Valley, it was a cool upper 50's morning. I started the bike, I let it run about 2-3 minutes. It stalled 3 times neutral to first, I let it warm up a few more minutes. It cluncked hard into gear off I went. I was able to start without stalling after that. After riding riding the the clunk was not hard, but what you would expect typically going from N to 1 . But still when the bike is off ,1st gear and clutch in ,it does not disengage. Im not looking foward to getting stuck on a hill or something hunting for neutral to start the bike

ENOUGH OF THAT. It had rained the day before, conditions were great and so was the bike. I rode trails, sand, rocky stuff and sand. It went everywhere I pointed it, no hesitation. FI was great, super smooth. suspension handled great. Tight , turny steep singletrack hill climb, not a problem. The bike has exceeded my expectations so far. Cant wait to ride again
