I just bought a used 2000 FC501 and it won't start. It seems to have a week spark and only every couple of times that you kick it. I've read about a guy named "SPARKS" but don't have an email, phone# or address so I can contact him and send out the stator.
When I took the OHM reading it read 1.8 Kohms instead of 3 Kohms between the Red & Black wires, the reading was OK between the Green & Black wires. I think that means it needs to be rebuilt. Anybody know for sure and know how to get in touch with Sparks?
