How many teeth can I go up on the rear sprocket without having to go to a new chain? Rear wheel is almost as far back on the adjusters as it can go. Currently the bike has 15/42 on it. I'd like to gear it a little more to off road ( tighter stuff).

I kept the 15 tooth front sprocket and went with a 48 tooth rear sprocket. I needed a chain one link longer.

well the wheel spindle blocks are eccentric and can be turned around but using your present rear chain the best you can do is

15/44
14/45
13/46

Thanks.
I'm trying to make this a little more woods friendly.
Some say it is stupid to run this in the single track. But, mine goes there sometimes.
