hey everyone,
wondering if anyone knows if the sprockets and/or rotors from a 99-newer 600 will fit on my 97 600, seems like there are a lot more options for the newer ones, the shaft coming out of the transmission on the 97 has 12 splines and is about 25mm in diameter if it helps, i noticed the front sproket geting worn and fitting loosly on the splines and would like to do some gear swapping anyway, but dont know if they are all differnet between models and years or if some will interchange
currently have the factory 15/42 gears, was recomended by boss to increase the size of the front sproket, said i could fit even a 17 toother with minor modification of guard if i could find such a thing, would work the engine less i was told, when i bought the bike it came with a new 48 tooth rear sprocket i am going to try out soon just for laughs, i think it may be a little steep if i dont do something with the front one (and still probably will be) i ride on the road and in open fields a lot at high speeds,
thanks for any ideas...
