It takes a lot of time, effort and money to properly build up one of these beautiful motors, so I have been toying with the idea of running spray instead.

Years ago I ran a Boondockers dry 20 shot of nitrous on a CR500AF I used to have. It was great fun to toy with the built Banshees at the dunes.

I like the idea of easily adjustable power and being able to remove the system when I want to get rid of bike.

Considering one of these progressive systems from WON the leader in the field of nitrous in my opinion. I would make it a 50 kit:

Wizards of NOS SB25 Single Cylinder Motorcycle Nitrous Kit

With this progressive controller:

Maximiser Nitrous Controller

Stumbled onto this new lil inexpensive set-up some of you might be interested in as well!

I have an 02 head that looks like it has been made with injection in mind

will put up a pic later

Interesting! Plenty of meat there for either.

I am a fan of having a long run way for the nitrous to cool the intake charge as much as possible, but it is hard to do with a wet system on a bike.

With the Boondockers system the N20 was injected before the carb inlet at the elbow, so there was plenty of time to remove heat.

unless your unreliable 130kg LDC ( load dog crap) already has a fuel pump that would easily support the capacity required and a TPS that could be used with a window switch......

packaging my be a problem but if tillbuilt can wedge a turbo in there anything is possible.

How scary was a 500af on gas ? That sounds like a mean a$$ ride. Cant even imagine a 650 with a 50 shot !

oh man I just had a look at the slick fit kit...... It took a while to think of something that I couldn't bolt it on to. I reckon I cuold cut my lawn mowing time in half if I gave the old john deere a 5 shot, Id get more riding time in before the wife comes home :)

I feel your pain, that you had to sell the AF, I had to sell my '01 500r for the same reason.
