hi all
my 2002 650 speedo stopped working today one minute it was fine then it bounced all over now nothing
now living where i do i need a fairly accurate speedo due to the amount of plastic bikes annoying the local plod
ive had a little look inside and cant really see anything amiss i guess its just knacked its still clocks up kms ok
has anyone had this and fixed it or can anyone suggest a reasonably priced alternative .if i go electronic does the 2003 wheel spacer do away with the drive on the wheel?

Have you checked the platic bit on the hub? Sometimes the lugs get worn away or break and can cause intermittent problems as it will pick pu on the other lug only occasionally.
Mine does the same, i get through a couple of these every year on either my berg or the CCM,

im guessing as the kms clock up ok that its the head bit gone

has anyone a trail tech on thier bike ? how is it
ie reliabilaty accuracy

Try looking for the sigma, think they sell them in halfords, some of the ccm guys have fitted them with good results, seem pretty sturdy, i tried a panoram on mine, but it broke after a particularly good wheelie!!
