anyone help me please?

i need a rad hose that exits the water jacket, does a 90 to face the front wheel, goes horizontally to around the front corner of the cylinder jacket, does another 90d vertically and then goes straight up to the top of the radiator inlet.

anyone seen any kind of hose-from car bike anything! that might fit the bill?

i can make one up by cutting and placing tubes in the hose but it won't look as good that way.

cheers

I have a friend at an auto parts store. If I had a picture or a drawing... Which Berg is it for?

I once found a defective piece of macaroni which was exactly the shape that you describe...but I digress...

Isn't there bendable form of hose that has a spriing inside which retains the shape ? That would seem to be your ticket.

Cheers, and best of luck.

all bikes are the same since 2000.

have a look at it and maybe describe it to him. your viewing it and then telling him would be the best way. i'm not trying to be lazy here but i'm sure you know what i mean.

I recently faced a hose routing problem on a sidecar. I didn't want it to look naff but I couldn't find any hose the right shape so I made little aluminium connectors with fins in the middle. I'm sure you have seen the type of thing I'm describing. I know its not ideal, but at least it looks deliberate, like you meant it and not like you had to bodge two hoses together. And it does help with cooling, in theory. It might help as a last resort.

there are several standard bends available in hoses, usually through carparts or industrial suppliers. But if these fit a Husaberg?? On our quad chassis we have mounted a 90degree bend from a brand called Gates. You may want to have a try and see if there is anything online about them like a catalogue. Otherwise I can have a look and see if we have a a catalogue or brochure from them.

I think you are talking about a preformed hose. The closest thing would be to take the old hose off and take it to a auto parts place and see if something close will match up. Thats what I did when I replaced the hoses on my bike but mine is a 96. Look at the heater hoses that is your best bet. Hope this helps.

I second Daves idea I took my bends to auto store
they sent me behind the counter and in about ten
min... or so found one that would work after cutting
both ends :D
