Does anyone know where or how to get the sparky insert for the Akrapovic mufflers that are on the 08 US Spec bikes?

I hope to go to the 1st 2 AMA National Enduros this winter and a USFS approved sparky is a must. I have a new take-off Husaberg muffler from an 07 but I want to use the Akrapovic that came on the bike.

It is, or was available. Roy had given me the number at some time, but it is lost now. Have you tried to order it through Ohio?

If you have trouble, I'll look agian for you

Call Rick Bozarth at Boss off road http://offroadboss.com, or your dealer that you bought it from . I believe Boss told me that it was available to order.

Or contact an Aka dealer it should be basically the same insert for most of the off road models of mufflers. There should be a model number on the can that will help.
