My pal just got a new KTM 530XCWR and the cost was 9400 US out the door, I just checked the Euro to US dollar rate and it is approx 1.57 dollars per euro so the new 450 would be $13,894 and the 570 would be $14130 US dollars. Yikes! I could buy a couple of tricked out japanese dirtbikes for that, I may have to wait 10 years and pick up a used one, I really don't see a huge market for a 14000 dollar dirtbike, or if there is I am not a part of it.

carefull fellas, they don't sell dollar for dollar across different markets. Converting US to Euro using Euro pricing is completely incorrect. We'll have to wait for an honest MSRP for NA, AUS etc. All will be different.

I didn´t think that the US-price is/will be that high, but he asked what a bike costs in Europe :) And there you go, that´s the price he will be paying
if he buy one from Europe :idea:
