slip on 2005 650sm

hi just wondering are there problems with getting any old slip on can for my berg? I'm looking to make it race bike now, not road so dont care about db. should I just measure the mid pipe diameter and find a slip on that fits or is it more complicated than that.

nah just put one on, clean up the inside of the headers and also the mid section where it goes 2 into 1

search the site. Yep, there are slip ons. Yes, they are rare and expensive now. Bushie created his own exhaust. I'm in the process of following his lead. Akra made one. . . it's as common as a unicorn now. Full system? Good luck. Doma (email is a foreign concept to them), Akra (stopped making them, likely sitting on a dealer shelf . . . somewhere) and fmh (measure and modify) all make slips and and Dorna and Akra make full systems. Still, dinero land if you can find one. Perhaps the stock one, modified is enough. Up to you

Ranjbro..... there is an aussie crowd called Barrats (bad spelling) that do a range of zorts..... i slipped one of there mufflers on, works and sounds goodo.

Mite be worth a look.

Cheapest option is to free flow your stock muffler ala Bushie.
