Hi I'm looking at getting a skidplate for my 2005 fs650e. my question is does a skidplate for a fe501 1996-1999 fit onto my bike, the frames look very similar. any help would be appreciated.
 
Most likely not, the frames are completely different. If the FE501 in question is electric start, the starter is in the front of the cases and the front motor mounts are underneath the motor.
