Skid Plate question - 08 FE 450

Hey guys

I've been looking around for a skid plate.

Could only find 2 options - the OEM one ($200) and the P3 skid http://www.pirieperfprod.com/p3skidplates.html which goes for $165 but looks less protective then the OEM.

All the other skids I found were for older models and a lot cheaper (...)

Did any body tried any thing else? Does any older model skid fit the 08 ?

Try Mecca french company and older ones should fit 2001 -08

I had one of those Hyde bash plates on my Husky TE450 and it was the ducks guts !!

Tough as hell, but being moulded plastic it reverberated a lot less noise than the alloy ones do.
