I am just a regular member, but I thought this needs to be brought up. For now, the donation button that made it easy to donate funds to keep our site up and going is not present. Here is the address to paypal your donation to:

With the migration to the new system, I am sure a little capital to help with everything sure would be appreciated. I think this is the best enthusiast site around, and it all starts with the Site Administrator, and Jason does a lot of work without imposing a bunch of rules and regulations. So if you can, please help out.

OK I have started "kickin' in the bucks", how long before something happens?
Would it be more financially beneficial to the site if it was explained how much you need to donate to get a Bronze/Silver/Gold sponor thingo? Then stick that post right up the top of the forum.
Mind you, I am not a marketing person :)

On the old site, we had such a page and the donations were automatically recorded and posted to the front page. I'm currently looking for the best paypal IPN class. Once I find it, I'll begin writing the new donation system. Until then, we'll do it old school with fingers and a keyboard :)

Thanks for posting the paypal address John!! I still had it in my paypal account but did not think to post it the way you did, good job!

I have tried to get Schwim to tell me how much things were but he has remained mum on the subject.

I would like to encourage everyone to please donate to the site at this time as I know that it wasn't cheap to re do everything, and a new server. It would be great if we could get a bit of a drive going here to help offset the unknown costs. How about this......if you can donate the price of fuel it takes you to go out to your favorite riding location.

Alright you guys!!!!! $475 so far this month. Let's keep it going and see how much we can get before the end of the month to help pay for the new server for the new site.

Holy cow, everybody. I can't thank you all enough for everything. There's actually been even more donations this month from before the donations system was active, so the total is even higher than what you see on the front page. I'm doing my best to provide something that's worthy of your generosity.

I'm currently working on the ability to add everyone's past donations into the system so you can see how much you've donated and when. It will take me a while to manually add everyone's past lump sums, but once done, everyone should have the kudos due to them.

Seriously, I can't thank everyone for the incredible amount of help you've all provided. It's greatly appreciated. I'm working on building the classifieds, links and downloads and will make each available as they become fleshed out enough to use. Just like with the donations system, I'll add the bells and whistles to them as I add them.

HaHa Davo :D I keep an eye on things here every day, am I an addict? :roll: The answer is definitly yes -- and I came to that realization when UHE was down for the count and I was impatiently waiting for it to be up and running again.
I appreciate what Json and the guys that make UHE what it is are doing for all of us and at their own expense, my donation is small for the enjoyment I get from this site. Great job on the new improved site Json :cheers:

I'm not saying anything other than what I said before:

I just thought $1000 would be a good round number for "this" in light of what I wrote above. To that end I kicked in another $100 so that only another $100 would be needed to achieve that goal. If I am not mistaken it takes about $300 a month to keep things rolling here.

Ok guys we hit $1000 for the month!!! Now let's go for $2000 heck it's only mid month :) and this forum has been most helpful to a newbie Berg gal.

Thanks very much for making the $1000 for the month happen!!!! Thanks also for the recognition that this site plays for a new berg owner such as yourself. And by the way, welcome to the site. $2000 for the month?? I like the aggressive style!!!!
