I don’t know if it is already a foregone conclusion by the powers that be but how do the forum members feel about it?

Would it help keep the forum alive?

Would it help keep the Husaberg marque relevant?

Might it put some kind of pressure somewhere to keep parts flowing?

What do you think?

if i had a husqy 501 id post about it on here and answer any questions that i could.

how about we get a donation fund together to buy one so we can get this started :D

In a way it makes sense to include, but at the same time not at all. I think it's better to keep this for bergs only as there are so many husky forums out there already. And the new huskys can find a lot of info on the ktm forums too.

I say no.

Fact is , very little going on here about the newer blue KTM's. This is a great site, but if you want info on the newer bikes, you'll get more over at Cafehusky. JMO

As far as I'm concerned.....no.
Let this be the place for Husaberg. And let it die with time as the brand did itself.

Kinda romantic, don't you think?

Eventually many are going to purchase a new bike and migrate to a forum that caters to that brand. Husqvarna is a logical choice as they are touted as the successor to Husaberg. It would help keep this forum populated. The more visitors to the site the more likelihood they would develop an interest for the older models. The more interest in the old Husabergs the more likely parts, aftermarket, used and NOS would be flowing (perhaps in a trickle). I could see myself purchasing a new Husky someday and installing a Husaberg graphics kit to correct the injustice. If enough people rebadged their Husky to a Husaberg it may have an effect at the factory level. It would be a great way to protest albeit a smidge passive aggressive. If everyone peeled off their new Husqvarna decals and replaced them with Husaberg graphics we may just be able to affect change. Think of it as placing flowers at a grave with the hope of a resurrection someday.

Agreed. The ATK website is still going. Gets a few post a month now, and they probably sold way less bikes than Husaberg.

The KDX website is still going strong 9 years after that model was discontinued.

And if you like brain cramps, there's always the clownfest over at Thumpersqualk.:banghead:

I was considering adding Husqvarna and KTM sections, separate from the Husaberg sections.

You would have to separate them, otherwise the berg's would get lost in all the Husky traffic and the Berg owners would drift off. Huskyfatman is right the ATK forum still gets traffic and they stopped the Rotax engined bikes over 15 years ago.

Putting Husaberg stickers on new Husky's is a stellar idea.

I say I'm new to this but if you join the to together make sure to keep some separation. between the to. I'm gone move over to a Husqvarna next any ways. probably not going back to japs. I like to learn and others have info lets share that and keep the berg alive but include the new kids on the block even tho they all have been hear for a long time.

My TE300 smoker looks strange in front of my 2005 "Four Stroke Force" banner I got in the raffle at the force ride II. I wish KTM had used the Husqvarna name for the 2 strokes and Berg for the thumpers. *******s!

Indeed, I envision a few Berg crazed lunatics (yes Bushie, I'm looking at you . . . and spanner, and Dr C and others for sure) still roaming these here parts wonder why they continue to answer my stupid questions 10 years from now (that means i'll be here too). Dunno, i get the times they are a changing and frankly, this is a helluva bike site. Not a lot of crap, but a lot of info.

I know there are Ducati/KTM sites that are jealous of how good this place is. Hate to see such information go by bye if some of us go on to the yellow and blue KTMs. If you guys buy them (or if I do), I'm certainly going to request a new subfolder to discuss. Yes, I'll still want my 'berg info, but I'd hate to see it all go to a different place.

That's good thinking. KTM should of hired you as their marketing advisor.

I really like my 650, at 55 I've probably only got maybe ten good years left of dirt riding. So the 650 will probably see me out. I don't need the latest and greatest. Besides it's nice turning up to rides on the only old Berg, especially when most people don't even know what it is.

If I had to buy a new bike, I would buy a Husky and put the Husaberg stickers on it.

No Fark Husqvarna!!!
They make a great Chainsaw and a **** bike end of story.
I'd post a picture of my Chainsaw but Zen has Husqvarna'd the gallery

can't agree with KTM here but I think this is the natural home for all 2014+ Huskies.

get that Husqy page started!

They do make a good chainsaw. The bikes did get a bit of a bad rep when the Italians were making them. But I don't know how much the bike was to blame or the glass lickers that bought them (as they were cheap) and gave them the care and maintenance regime one would give a Chinese pit bike.

I wandered into my local Husqvarna dealer to take a closer look at the new Fe501. Gorgeous bike. Approx $14,500 Australian dollars floor price.

If anyone at Husky or KTM marketing is reading this you need to do more to differentiate the bike as a premium model. Just as a "six days" is a premium model so should these come factory/dealer fitted with an Ohlins damper and integrated Steg Pegs, better bark busters and/or flex levers. Put all the high end stuff in a package with fancy stickers, call it a "Husaberg kit" and get some mileage out of the brand.

I'd be cool with seeing more Husky stuff on here. I reckon I'll get one in the near future.

Hi

I've been saying this for a long time, said it at least twice in previous future of forum discussions.

Also said the same about the 2 strokes.

So if we want to have some kind of future that's the only way
