If so what improvements will I see?

And what exactly do I have to do, to it to mod it? And is there instructions on how to do it etc.

Has anyone in Australia performed this mod etc?

Thanks guys

Why mod something whis is working well ?

And what do you want to improve with the carburation ?

Hello,

My carbeurator was modified by Lineaweaver, The difference is simple

It starts 2nd kick almost everytime and does not fart and stall as easy when throttle is chopped if you are not experiencing problems with starting and or stalling

I personally would just leave well enough alone!

after 30 tests i was running the 470 jetting with the /30 slidecutaway. superb! power wheelies in second WITHOUT leaning back AND on 14/48 gearing.

try the 470 jetting which you'll find in your manual. to get to a /30 slide just take 1mm off the bottom. i however only took .75 mm off in the end.

is there any point in telling you this though if you aren't going to actually ACT upon it

know what i'm saying

I am looking at doing this mod.

So no need to be like that TAFFY

I will look in my manual. What was your top speed with this jetting and gearing. Also what does cutting the slide do and where do i cut it etc.

about 100mph in second-smell anything?

8)

you take .75mm off the bottom of the slide thus reducing the cutaway height from /40 (4mm) to /30 (3mm) and as i've said i only machined .75mm off saving the purchase price of a new slide. the rest i trust you can follow from reading the manual.

it makes the same air go through a smaller hole creating an even faster stream of air which announces 'more suck' to the atomizer' demanding more fuel which means get a smaller PJ which means that everything is smaller and sharper.

from clcosed to about 1/8th throttle fading into 1/4 throttle is the official reply i believe. it's said to haver slight effect up to 1/2 throttle as well.....

After talking to a few other members I guess i will keep what I have. As the bike starts well and runs fine. So most have said to leave it alone if that is the case. Thanks TAFFY for your time and everyone else.
