Got the rear shock out of my -02 FE650, seems like most of it hasn't been serviced for a while, the oil was a brown sludge (is that normal?), the seals were pretty flat and one side of the top shock bushing fell out when I took the shock out.
Got the new seals, but having a hard time finding top and bottom shock bushing. Has anyone else managed to find some that would fit an -02 FE650?
Also what oil do you guys put in there?

You need 2.5W all shocks are the same.

I sell the quad rings, The seal heads and the top and bottom heim (spherical bearings) that you want. I also sell the shock shaft bush and you ought to get a rebound O ring if you are stripping it. well there are two/three O rings you need to get. but that bottom O ring for the rebound is to stop it rusting up. it takes a special 22mm (i think?) tool to undo the bottom nut on the shock shaft. once the shock shaft is off you can do the rebound O ring and stop it seizing.

Answering one of my own question for anyone else in the same situation: All Balls racing part nr 29-5056 (lower shock bearing kit) fits a FE650 -02.
