Hey guys,
I recently bought a fe390 and I am loving it, coming from a cr250. So nice to ride. I'm trying to tidy up bits and bobs that the previous owner was a bit heavy handed with. One thing that I'm trying to not only figure out how they did it, but how to get them out. 2 panel bolts/screws on the side of the tank/Airbox that hold on the main side panels are sheared, below flush any tips? Cheers from Scotland

Your kidding?

They usually strip, not break.

You may have to try and drill a small hole in them and use an easy out.

Yeah, been a few bits left me curious as to how it's been done! Haha
That's what I was afraid of

I'll be as careful as I can but still brave poking a drill around haha I was hoping there might have been something obvious I was missing!
I can't seem to find a good place to nuy the screws either

If you have a dremel tool use the small cutoff wheel to grind a slot in the screw careful not to hit the tank. It’s OK to hit the insert but just a little!! It should come out using a slotted screwdriver. Good luck

Well, that was the most uncomfortable bit of free hand drilling i've done, but it was a success!! They were a good bit under flush, so i'd no choice but to drill.. offered up the dremel but it wouldn't get close
