well, I finally got a chance today to get some seat time in on the new (to me) Husaberg.
I must say, i was surprised.
when we swapped we basically just started them up and took each others bike down the street through the gears, shook hands, loaded them up and parted company.
lots of power, but a VERY SMOOTH power delivery
at first I was thinking 'man, I screwed up, this thing is a lump'
but after getting back into the 4stroke mood, its a damn fast machine.
the suspension, wheels, and a host of over parts are all KTM so that parts familiar.
it turns good. seems like it like to be ridden on the front versus the 380 more on the rear.
weight seems very comparable to the 380 as well
one thing that I did notice which put a huge grin on my face was just how easy it slides. I mean that in a power slide, controlable sort of way.
I think I'm really gonna like it!!!
Any source of plastic other than OEM?
Everything looks great with the exception of the front fender which i'd like to replace
