warming up nicely ain't it!

I still can't see past NZ but who's going to have the big game that makes 'em crumble?

the real wild cards are Ireland and Wales and they are expected to meet each other in the quarter finals meaning one of them is in the semi's and possibly v England. with Australia coming #2 in their group it's gonna be hard from now on. didn't see who they have in the quarters though....

we've been having RWC breakfasts over here and it's the first time for years I've met rugby players without a beer and can remember what they said the next day. told em all that if I'd known them sober I'd have dropped the boring buggers!

so where's your money?

NZ v England final and NZ to crawl away with it.

Or choke in the semis like every other year

well, we're down to the nitty-gritty end of it now aren't we!

england have been useless - you ask for an ex - player to manage the team and now you know what you get!

the 'other france' turned up but that should have been obvious because they rarely if ever play poorly against les roast beefs' do they!

Australia's defence against the boks was awesome and makes next sundays game between them and the all blacks thee game of the tournament IMHO. I don't think France can stop NZ this time it has to be Australia or it's theirs...

but I think Wales under Gatland now have a very confident team and they'll push france, I think though that It's going to be a OZ v Wales Final.

whatever, the rugby played at the weekend was good and now finally NZ are required to find top gear. what have they got in the locker?

where's ya money boys!

The AB's are flapping now with Carter and Slade out, they might move Weppu to # 10 so he can run the game. I think the Ozzies might role the AB's.

France v Wales, tough one, if France "A" turn up you might be struggling. But it has the potential to be the most exciting game of RWC 2011.

Regardless I hope its Northern Hemisphere final winner.

a wales v NZ final would be something else for the principality I'll tell thee!

the two countries that put rugby first....

Having one of the best ever "English" rugby league players as your defence coach you might have a chance of beating the French!!!

Brookester

I hope the frogs get a good kicking in the final. they haven't had one good game at this wild cup. they'd better hope that they get australia coz NZ will just tell em if they did win the final that they kicked em once this world cup!

Its a matter of perspective I guess.....
Seems a bit off.....
Costs Kiwi's 40mil for the IRB to walk away with 300mil in their pockets.....
Players get fined 10k for the wrong mouthgaurd, same as the maximum fine for the captain of the ship that is now fouling part of our fair country.

I can think of alot of more important projects to invest $40mil into for the greater good of N.Z. than a bunch of well paid grown men pumping themselves up in a gym to chase an oval ball about a paddock.

If our world class riders can make it on private sponsership (no govt help) then what the hell is wrong with the rugby world backing their own sport.

What a sham!

Oh yeah...... The Mighty All Blacks is guna clean up the Frogs..... (well they bloody better coz we guna be payin this gig off for some years to come).

Sorry peeps..... I am much too political to get involved with sports.

****** check out Courtney Duncan for a real kiwi sportster *****

I'm goin for a ride to clear my mind...........

Consider yourselves robbed.

Crap game but France were a joke.

maybe it should have been a yellow card rather than a red but even with 14 men wales had the chances to win the game and let it slip away.

not much more can really be said apart from Hook might want to give it a week or 2 before coming home

i thought it was a red card.

I'm a qualified ref and did it for 5 seasons every saturday after I retired. First of all the law states a player must be brought to the ground safely, infact he was lifted rolled and dropped.

secondly, the ref was unsighted but nobody has mentioned that!

thirdly, if you tell people to squeeze up on a law you are telling them nothing about what you can allow - call it common sense if you like.

wales could and should still have won but they lost it because of the following reasons;
losing a player doesn't lose you the world cup; what loses you the world cup is losing your captain, pack leader, lineout caller and best player all in one and being told to start playing seconds later.

france got 50% of wales' lineout ball clean and the other 50% they didn't even move for. it's as though they knew one of the calls but not all of them? also with only 6 in the lineout you can't play so many games and had better have trained hard at single pod rugby!

they lost their tight-head and the other bloke got his arse kicked so now the scrum is crap as well and by the way, no excuses!!! Wales started the game with a 71KG advantage in the scrum? that means when the flanker went off things would be even (it's been proved that the No8 doesn't add any push in a scrum) on their ball and at terrible disadvantage on your own.

I didn't think Hook was 'bad' he slipped for one kick didn't he, not good true but STEVE JONES WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND went AWOL for the drop goal attempts - I mean where the phuq dee go man? also, follow the Wales No5 and he has an awful game, just wasn't even at the races.

so after all the above I think they were sublime. with the polynesian hangin out in the backs looking good it was left for bennett and Charteris et al to go from ruck to ruck and a man down. Bennett for the second week on the trot was being knocked off balance with a minute to go and was grabbin players so he could keep stood upright!

Halfpenny = magnificant!!!!!!

today's game was one too far for Australia and boy did NZ gloat. those guys hate each other truly!!!!

Look I can't stand the all blacks but that's because they are so bloody good. I hate them! but they are good aren't they! I hope the boks can get this coloured shyte sorted soon otherwise the future looks black for a long time to come.

Johnson to walk. another celebrity manager to suit the British press the same as the footie managers get picked by the press.

If the Welsh can hold onto Edwards I think he has it in him to keep them going if they could keep Gatland I can see them being in awesome shape for the next world cup. but he's going to get the call home isn't he...

What odds for Les Blues to shaft the Kiwi's again?

Heres hoping they can at least turn up on Sunday.

For all the doubters remember they beat NZ in 1999 when Big Jonah was in his prime. You would have got good odds on that too!

the odds for france are considered sop long over here that they are already paying out at the bookies. 8O 8O

Congratulations to the all blacks....

good game probably made exciting by the scoreline rather than any great skills or flair shown and overall the NZ were the team of the tournament and deserved it. they rarely give away pnealties and that was what the french were trying to coax out of them near the end. shame Joubert didn't see both sides misdemeanors but the game was there to be won wasn't it for both sides.
