After a full day of riding, the tip of my muffler literally shredded through the muffler aluminium body and fell off!!
I'm probably cutting a piece of the aluminium body and create new holes to tighten the tip's bolts, but while my mechanic is at it, I wonder if there is any risk or danger in riding my FS 570 without any muffler (aside for my hearing of course).
I run on closed courses so not worried about it being street-legal.. The sound is awesome (like a "pow pow pow braaaaaap braaap" ), but the main things I'm worried is the 1) engine itself (I've heard some engines may run too rich or lean without the muffler) or 2) melting the plastic pieces that are close to the midpipe end.
Any thoughts anyone?
