welcome to UHe farfast

could you not use capitals all the time please.

would be good if you could put where you are from in your signature and also what you ride so we can see it all the time.

the pins are a press fit and typically it should take a vice to fit them. if you can get them in by pressing with your thumb then they are stlil about acceptable.

whenever you put new pins in you must peen over the edges so that the pins can't vibrate out. i use a cold chisel to make a 'chipped edge'. i believe we have photos of this in the doc somewhere.

RE: Re: ROCKER ARM BEARINGS

hmmm , i know they are meant to be snug ,but mine appear to be interferance fit as for vibrating out !!!!!not in a million years ,however they did go in using a vice with a lot of heaving and grunting ,i had chilled the pin to about -10 and warmed the arm to appx 100 degrees they were still really tight to get in just panicking a bit as i have managed to fit one and damaged the other trying to fit it ,would like to know if what im doing is correct before ordering another,,,

RE: Re: ROCKER ARM BEARINGS

if you pressed it in then it must have fitted. silver steel has no forgiveness so i trust that i was right.
